Christann Kennedy is a Canadian visual artist and colourist who works in painting, sculpture and print. Drawing inspiration from the history of Western abstraction and the psychedelic popular culture of her 1970s childhood, Kennedy explores the perceptual consequences of colour and pattern while seeking to understand the meaning of labour-intensive material craft in the digital age.
Stripe Set Variation (Way Out), 2015. Oil on canvas, multiple panels, 24 x 20 inches each.
